Second full-length from Toronto’s Born Ruffians. Another exercise in well-crafted indie-pop that jangles along the way. Luke LaLonde continues his yelp-laden, marbles-in-mouth-sounding vocals. Reminds me of Vampire Weekend without all of their cutesy indie poppiness, or Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! if CYHSY had a slightly better vocalist.
